i hope you realize that you doing this is the reasons bands aren't surviving. who wants to buy the music if you can get it for free? oh the bands do, because that's how they move up in the "industry."

I do not agree with you. This is great for less or not at all popular bands that need affirmation and some listening audience. And for those well known bands, well i still think ppl who download something and really really like it, will buy it and support the band they love.

I agree with p/s, if it were not for try before you buy so to speak, I would not have been turned on to dozens of bands that have gotten my support. Hell, I have Paypal'd bands 20 bucks direct if I have liked their stuff, not to mention merch and tix.
